Leeds Rhinos have partnered with CorMed-DX Ltd to double the amount of life-saving defibrillators on site on a Rhinos match night at Headingley.

In the UK there are over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA) a year where emergency medical services attempt to resuscitate the victim. However, the survival rate is low – less than 1 in 10 people in the UK survive an OHCA.
Every minute without an AED lowers the chance of survival by 10%.
Leeds Rhinos Headingley Stadium have several CellAED® devices. 1 is kept with the players doctor/medic at all times, with an additional 3 devices dotted around the stadium to increase the safety of all visitors, players and staff.
